Your trailer, serviced where it stands.

Fixed prices from £60 for box trailers, horseboxes, catering trailers, flatbeds and plant, carried out on your drive or yard. I'm a serving RAF Ground Equipment Engineer, working across West Norfolk and the Fens, evenings and weekends.

Not sure what type of trailer you've got? Send a photo of the wheels and the coupling and I'll tell you which service it needs.

No workshop drop-off. No price that changes on the day.

Getting a trailer serviced usually means hitching it up, towing it to a workshop and leaving it there, often without knowing what it'll cost. Total Trailer Services works the other way round.

I come to wherever the trailer is kept, carry out the service there, and charge the fixed price for your type of trailer, plus any parts it needs. If I find a fault that needs more than a service, I'll explain what it is and give you a price before any extra work.

Find your price by counting the wheels

Every general service has a fixed price, set by how many axles your trailer has and whether it has brakes. Horseboxes and food trailers are priced the same way: count the wheels.

These prices are for the work itself. Parts such as bearings, brake shoes or lamps are charged on top, and you'll know the cost before anything is fitted.

Braked trailers have a spring-loaded overrun coupling and a thin breakaway cable at the front. If yours has neither, it's unbraked.

Qualifications, in writing

You're trusting me with the brakes and bearings on a trailer that follows your car at 50 mph. You should be able to see exactly what I'm qualified to do before you book.

Booking works around the day job

I still serve full-time in the RAF, so service slots are mainly evenings and weekends. Message me with your trailer type and where it's kept, and I'll come back to you with the next slot that fits.
